Wildlife Wonderland

Good Morning!
Although it was over 20 below this morning; as the temps began to rise the animals began to move.  Within a short time frame we had deer, wild turkeys, crows, numerous chickadees, nut-hatches and mourning doves visit our back yard. The weather didn't seem to bother them in the least. I have to admit that I prefer seeing all this wildlife from the comfort of a warm and cozy house.  With all this activity going on I sometimes forget that we have a 'city' address.

Oh my word! How exciting was that to see all the animals from your window!I would go wild if a deer crossed my woods..they do I'm told but I won't be here to see it.
What a kind comment you made at my blog!xo

You're in a nice location there with the woods right up behind your place. I too ~ love looking out the window at the wildlife. Randy had about 25 turkeys in his yard the other day when I drove by.

How wonderful! and they are all so close to your windows..you are so lucky! We have to traipse in the woods for hours to find those kinds of shots!

Wow, Cher! You really do live in a winter-wonderland. If you live in the city you have to be on the outskirts - or next to a park. That's exciting.

What I think is even more marvelous, Cheryl - is that you recognize the beauty out your window and choose to share it with everyone. Thank you for not only sharing but reminding me that even in the city, I'm surrounded by nature.

Wow, youhave a great back yard zoo! Good pictures, glad you get to view them from the warm confines of the house.

But 20 below? No, can't handle that, the nearest we came to that was North central Missouri for two years, we are cold at 20 above but now it sounds warm thanks!!!

Love from North Carolina

You are fortunate to have the park in your back yard but in reality, girly, the animals always did follow you.
