Christmas is nearly here so once again I decided to find a seasonal background! ~ Then I came across this perfect picture while surfing the net ~ and well, you know me -I just had to share.  ~  Once I get over this latest lazy spell I've been stuck in  ~ I will start to pull out some holiday decorations ~ piece by piece until the next snowflakes fall ~ that means baking ~ I don't know why but I love to bake Christmas cookies when it's snowing! ~ And I'm finally into stage one of shopping ~ I'm beginning to 'think' about it. ~ Shopping is not one of my favorite things to do. ~ Personally, I think gifts should come from the heart and be given when ever one feels like gifting. ~ But we do love seeing those happy faces on the Grand-loves as they open their gifts from Grandpa and Grandma! ~ And the hugs  ~ well, they're just 'priceless!' ~  How are you all doing on your Christmas to-do lists? ~

Love this picture with the deer, the horns, the berries, and the bird. We don't have any little ones anymore so we give gift cards or money. Not as much fun but when you get older those cement floors hurt more and more.

I guess I am about done, Jill sent me some lovely things, so I don't have to bug DH to go into the attic and dig. Not buying much of anything, maybe a wii for the family and jackets. The house is too small to get carried away.

Shopping? Is that the thing you do Christmas Eve before noon?? Oh~ the thought of it gives me a headache. Love the deer/bird/berry pic :) and your background looks so festive and seasonal ... no pink/gray for me to decipher...(inside joke)lol. Catch up with you later ~ hopefully tomorrow night to tell you about my big buck!! Cross your fingers for me. Love ya Sis and that big elf you married too:)

Love the cute photo! I'm always late at all of this stuff, so probably will be doing things last minute!

This will be a frugal year sooo I am making as many Christmas gifts as possible. Nearly done....forgot about a couple..oops! Need to get busy.

I really like your suggestion about the tea staining the lace. Thanks so much for your input!!
It means a lot.
Have a great Sunday!

I LOVE Christmas! I Love the sound of traditional Christmas music. I love the smell of Pine, or Spruce, or a Fir tree in a room with lights and stars and angel hair at Christmas. I love the feeling of getting a present and opening it and finding that someone knew exactly what I wanted. The laughter, the shouts of glee, the joy on the faces of my children and other children who have received just what they wanted. Your picture grabbed that spirit of Christmas! Thanks.

I hate to use a crutch, but I have to say amen to my buddy Fred's comment.

Plus the statement 'lazy spell', it must not last over ten minutes, or you could not do all you do!!!

Love ya!!!!

Wonderful image! I do my shopping all year long and I'm finished by Christmas. What's the point of shopping at the last minute-it takes the joy out of Christmas.
