Nesting

All four of the
 bluebird houses
we built
a few years ago
are in use!

We have two sets of
tree swallows
nesting
one pair of bluebirds

and a pair of house wrens
I noticed that just like us
they each have their own
unique way of keeping house!

We have also found
the robins and sparrows
nesting in the trees
throughout the yard.

Now to find those tiny
little hummingbird nests.

I've joined up with this weeks Sunday Showcase Party at:

How very cool! You got so close to them too. What a sneaky girl you are. Love seeing a little peek into their nests.

Cher m'lady who found love in Alaska. Always a unique and interesting blog. Love the pictures. I have had to discourage two birds from nesting on my stuff as I settle in. One is doing well though above the door in my utility shed. I have no idea what kind.

Thou and thy dear sisters seem to know every weed, flower tree and animal that lives. y'all amaze me.

But with a mama like you have, who would doubt what you guys know.

Love from NC jack & Sherry

Hi Cher,
How exciting to have so many different birds nesting! I have never found a hummer nest. It would be a big thrill if I ever do.

WoW! Fantastic photos of the bird's nests with their eggs still un-hatched. Great camera work!

So great Cher! I'm still sad that so many of our nest boxes got destroyed in the storm right at nesting time. You have some wonderful activity going on around your beautiful yard.
Love those feather-lined nests.
