Fantastic Day

We had the most fantastic day.  As some of my followers know, we had just celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary a couple of days ago.  Being that my husband had a Dr. appt in Iron Mountain which is a half hour drive away, he planned a surprise for me.  A full hour body massage, shopping and dinner at our favorite Italian Restaurant.  What a wonderful man I married. He's always doing something special for me.  Who wouldn't love a man like that?

We were seated at the table by the green cabinet seen in the middle of the picture.  Thom had broasted chicken & ribs with gnocci's and I had chicken & shrimp linguini in a wonderful white wine sauce topped with fresh tomatoes and parmesan cheese. Now that we are home and settled in for the evening we are having a dessert of home made pumpkin pie that I baked yesterday.  This is my kind of day! Fantastic!

Ahhhh, sounds like the ideal day. I like a good love story, and you seem to be living one. Not everyone is that fortunate, as you all well know.

Somehow I wasn't sure Yankees lived love stories. NOW SINCE MEETING THREE SISTERS FROM WISCONSIN I am starting to believe it. I like learning even at an old age. hahahaha!!!

Keep the fire burning, love is grand!!! I still get a kick out of it!!!

What a sweet surprise, and all I can say is, Ain't Life Grand? And YUMMM, of course. So glad you had a wonderful day. I hope Thom's appt. was as good as all that...so, what did you buy while shopping.

Boy, you do have a keeper there. Massage, free rein shopping AND Italian food?! Sounds like a perfect day. I'm with Dar, I want to see what you bought.

Love, and life is the grandest thing! In my mind I could see your smile and hear the happy lilt in your voice even if I've never met you. Always remember these good times.

Sounds like a wonderful day but I'm a bit confused. You didn't have a French Dip sandwich?? Thom must have said 'she'll have that' as you were perusing the menu and not quite to the famous French Dip - oh wait - you were in an Italian place! I forgot! Happy forever to you both!
