I made a crystal fairy garden
with baubles, glass chess pieces,
little trinkets etc.

then I went into my photo program
& made the sweetest fairies out of
pictures of my grand-loves.
I laminated them and added little
sticks on the back to place them.
In one of our rock gardens
I added Grandma & Grandpa
cuddling on a bench.
So when the grand-loves came for
the weekend they could play with
the figures, including going to
visit Grandma and Grandpa
in their garden in a land
far, far away
just like in real life.

Junior Alice in Wonderland
We spent the weekend visiting the kids and Grandloves! Our oldest granddaughter was in a Junior High performance of 'Alice in Wonderland.' We were blown away with the talent of those young people. The entire program was so professionally done. The production, directing, choreography, acting, singing, lights, stage, sound, makeup ... every detail was outstanding! My husband and I were both so impressed that we can't stop talking about it! Although our granddaughter didn't have a starring role, we still couldn't be any prouder of her. She was center stage several times as she is one heck of a great little dancer and performer.
The Queen of Hearts stole the show!
I'm late, I'm late ...
Our shining 'star.'

Grandaughters Weekend
We just had a GRAND as in GRANDAUGHTERS weekend. Every fall my daughters load up the five grandaughters and head 'up north' for a weekend. This year we had a quick little 'birthday party' for Grandpa. The girls decorated cupcakes and make him homemade birthday cards, along with the gifts they gave him. Then I told them it was a backwards birthday party and we gave them some gifts too. It was so much fun, but as always the time went way too fast.

Hippy Chick & Graduate
We spent Memorial Day with our batch of Grand-loves. We had found the cutest little Gypsy type skirt for our Summer. She's such a free spirit I call her "my little hippy chick." It made my heart smile when she came out strumming her pink guitar and wearing sandals with the "peace sign" on them. And check out those toes, she definately has her Mom's feet - carbon copy!
On Wednesday we attended Taylor's Kindergarten Graduation. She's the 3rd in that family to pass that milestone. One more to go ~ but we'll have to wait a couple more years for that graduation! She's the little one in the picture background.
