As a huge dark snow cloud hoovers overhead, I find great comfort in peeking at sites like "Todays Flowers."
Looking at all the beautiful flowers inspired me to pull out my digital photos and once again take a little trip down memory lane. These African Daisies were stunning in real life.  I snapped this photo in 2003 at the University of Alaska Botanical Garden in Fairbanks.  We lived in that wonderful state at that time and really enjoyed our visits to the gardens. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

How pretty! I love when you get down and personal with the blooms. Fantastic shot! You should blow that photo up and get it framed. It would go really nice in your kitchen. OR...decorate that new gazebo wall... hint hint to Thom if he's looking for a winter project. I want a gazebo with a breeze way and a greenhouse attached. The plan is in my head whenever Thom wants it. He already made the entrance archway when he made the grape arbor. Oh just give me a week and I could have your yard so decked out! Me, Thom and all the people at Home Depot!! lol
