White on White

The big snow of Leap Day 2012 hit us big time!
White on white and more to come over the weekend.
Now that's what I call living up north!

I was thinking of gardening
but not today!

I'm sure the birds appreciate
the seeds set out for them

Once again the trees are bowing
to Old Man Winter!

Let it snow!! We need all the extra moisture the spring thaw will bring us. In a few months that garden gate will be swinging ~ in the meantime just cuddle up with the seed catalogs and dream :) of warmer weather.

Beautiful pictures of your winter wonderland. You sisters all have a knack of catching great moments. Hope the heavy snow doesn't do too much damage to the trees.
Love from down here.

Looks like our yard...sure did get a pile of that wet stuff, but we need every bit of it. It won't be long, and we will be complaining of brown lawns and watering our gardens every other day...get the rain barrels ready.
It sure is pretty and clean looking.
Hope you don't get pounded with too much more. I'd rather see the rain.
