Back At It

As thankful as I am for a great harvest
I must admit I’m getting tired of canning!

but when you can turn these
 into canned tomatoes
 or turn green tomatoes
to raspberry green tomato jam
 and green tomato relish
it's best to be happy and to stay thankful.

And just when I thought I was done my dear
husband requested some canned antipasto
and then reminded me that we have turnips to do!
Catch up with you all later ...

Those tomatoes definitely make me think of growing up! Looks very familiar! :)

Good job, you will be very grateful for that when winter is staying with us for EVER. Lol. Never heard of the green tomato jam/jelly tho! Cool!

I like it when you make canning an ART! Beautiful. BUT I do know it is work....

Those jars look like diamonds to me - wish I had some of them. It is hard now - but come winter you will be thrilled.

Yeppers ~ it seems like the canning season just won't come to an end. BUT the fruits of your labor are so worth it. You're eating good healthy foods all year long without nasty preservatives and pesticides :)

Look at you go! Your full-swing production will end soon. It sure feels good to know we are self sufficient and healthy. Those are some gorgeous tomatoes. Mine aren't so pretty but they sure made a great kettle of chili tonight.
thanks for the recipe. Lol, Mel gave me some qt. jars and today I went out and bought pints and 1/2 pints for jam...soon, soon, I will also be done.
