Transitions

We have several Monarch butterfly caterpillars now
feeding on our Milkweed.  If you check back I will soon
be posting pics of the Monarch chrysalis.  Hopefully
I will be able to capture the life cycle.

Amen to what Sandie says. I'll be watching for the butterflies.

That will be awesome!!! I thought I'd found a cocoon the other day on the very tip of a blue spruce pine branch...turned out it was just a piece of branch that had broken off and died!

Nina wrote and photographed the life cycle of the Monarch and then put in a child book form called Roots and Wings, photos and story by Nina Graff. It's so cute and she sent me a copy for all the GrandLoves to enjoy. It's now a favorite in our library.
I love the quote, also. So true.
