Family Tree

My Mom had a visit recently from her Great Niece
and her Great Great Niece.
Okay Sisters, correct me if I'm wrong here
(and I'm sure you will)
but after having us 10 kids;
I believe Mom has 21 Grandchildren
 and 38 Great Grand-loves
with oodles upon oodles of extended relatives
like nieces, nephews and all of their off spring.
In-laws, out-laws, good apples and maybe a few bad.
But it's our family and we roll with the punches
along with the bunches.  Our tree just keeps on
growing and growing and amazingly
there is always enough love for every
single branch, twig and bud.

A very blessed family indeed. I came from a family of 4..all others
died in world war II at the hands of the Nazis.
Now I am only survivor and I feel blessed having 3 grandchildren!!

Love your philosophical views, specially the "roll with the punches by the bunches"! That's a quotable quote. David the Psalmist put it this way: "Psalm 127:3-5 (KJV)
3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Good read Cher. I will say, the parts of the tree We have met will and have produced some great fruit. ESPECIALLY MAMA!
The Big "O" family is truly blessed with good family and in-laws.
(Probably fewer out-laws than most!)

Love from down here where we are already getting reports of snow in the mts.

Large family...my family is large also...not to many records to follow up on who is who...it is good someone kept records in your family.

My calculations, which could certainly be off a bit since the bad knock, have 3 less great GrandLoves. Of this strong gene pool we are so fortunate to be a part of, the seeds seem to pour out full speed.
Mom said her visit with Jackie and babe Lindy was such a wonderful surprise. It made her day, as you can see by her smile.
We are dearly loved.
