As much as I love the change of seasons, after several months of snow covered ground, I begin to long for color. White is beautiful for a while, but give me some green. Give me pinks, reds, yellows, oranges, etc. etc. Give me colors!! I'm really not complaining, after all, it's my choice to live here, it's just that I appreciate color.

Beautiful photograph Cheryl! Wonderful composition not to mention outstanding subject matter. Your post has given me inspiration for my next post as well as (finally!) coming up with the theme for my editorial in our chapter DAR newsletter! Have been wandering around wondering what Feb's editorial was going to be. Thank you!
Gorgeous flowers and plants. The bleeding hearts is one of my favorite plants too.
awww, you touch my 'bleeding heart' for I, too, cannot wait for my color...enough with the white stuff already...nice post Cher
and I can't wait for my bleeding hearts to show off.
On the personal note, saw your Nate and Shannon, Todd, kids and Mikey...at the fisheree...the power was out from 8 a.m. til 6 p.m. in that bitter cold...they were packing to leave when the lights came back on...
was great to see them...they were all having fun in spite of it.
Bless ya
Bless Your Day Sweet Sis
That's very lovely, I've never seen one like that , thanks for sharing Cher.
This is a time of year that we all long for color after seeing nothing but grey skies..I too color my world with archive colors.
Stay bright and cheery..Spring will appear!
You read my mind... Thanks for sharing this charming reminder that there is times of brilliant colors to come. I do so miss the warm glow of the rainbow of colors.
Wishing you a beautiful of sunshine and smiles!
:)
I just did check our weather forecast and it looks like a foot of snow is coming for weekend. Looks like white is all I'll be seeing anytime soon. :)
Love the bleeding hearts! Such unique little shapes. I have white and pink ones in summer.
Thanks so much for your visit.
Bleeding hearts always take me back home to the farm
and the flower beds that Mom and Daddy had...
they, too, had the green thumbs. I'm wishing you
a colorful day. Hope that snow goes away soon!
What a lovely photo. My mother's favorite potted hanging plant had these in them. They were a bright red and I loved them. Your pinks are equally beautiful. Thanks for sharing them.
