Oh... I miss the grosbeaks. We haven't had them around here for a couple years now. We used to have the pine grosbeaks and the evening grosbeaks. I guess they had died off from some kind of disease but are on a comeback. I know Mom has had a few by her and Sara is seeing them by her place. Fingers crossed they find their way back to my place soon. The feeders are full and waiting :)
We have been feeding the Pine Grossbeaks a week already and the flock is growing. Today there must have been a dozen or more. They sure are pretty, friendly and curious. I can get pretty close to them. They come to the feeders before I'm back in the house. Love Ms. Inquisitive in your last photo. You'reBlessedToHaveThem
Ditto Mel....we use to have a throng of the pine in the winter and usually the evening would stick around after summer and spend winter. We don't even see many evening during the times we are in Michigan.

Oh my, such a pretty bird!
Very pretty bird, but do not think I ever did see one. I do like bird watching if I don't know more than the Blue Bird and Red Bird.
