When anyone puts canning on this internet it reminds me of home with shelves lined with 'canned' food. Rows and rows of beautifully colored jars. These are beautiful, mamas never put up whole beans, I wish she had those look so good. The pickles? I would open a jar and eat every last one in the jat at 12 years old. She had to watch me. it all looks sooooooooooo good. Love from NC
I couldn't find a place to contact you privately, if I may make a suggestion... Can you post just the most recent entry? Some of us have to pay for all the stuff we download. Just a suggestion, please don't take offense.
I've been doing the same ~ putting up the harvest:) It's a lot of work some days; but then I think of the money being saved, and the quality of the end product ~ it makes it all so worth the extra effort.
These look soooo good! And they will look even better when winter has come and it's a long way from home to the grocery in the snow!! I admire that you and your sisters make preparations like these while the fresh veggies are available.

They look really good! I remember how much I used to can, it saves money and you just can't beat the flavor!
