Following such a long ‘white’ winter,
it does my heart good to
see some
color fly into our corner of the world.
Indigo Buntings & Goldfinches
Brown Thrashers
and Baltimore Orioles.
Joined by all the other little
‘tweet-hearts’
who
have been visiting daily.

Hey Sis, I was wondering when I was going to see some of your color. My Indigo Buntings came and went but that was on a grandlove weekend. The Orioles settled in as well as so many Goldfinches, Rose Breasted Grosbeaks and of course those rascally Bluejays. I love the color of the feeders while we wait for gardens to be planted and bursting with surprises. I do think, tho, that the one you call the Brown Thrasher ' isn't.' I'm not sure what he is but the Thrasher is a foot long, this guy's more the size of a thrush. Just saying, Sister Cher. Loveya, and when ya comin' home. We go down to get your baby sister in 2 weeks. Cannot wait!

Indigo buntings are my favorite! It is such a treat after such a long winter to see so much color!!
