We live 'up north' which is actually thousands of miles south of where we lived before (North Pole, Alaska - and oh how we miss it) but that's another story. And just the fact that we are living 'up north' I always wanted to get a good wood burning stove. What if the power went out and I still wanted to make a pot of coffee, or maybe a good old kettle of stew. So, I've been watching for the past few years, no big hurry, just watching and knowing that one day the opportunity would present itself and I would find that perfect for our purposes stove. And here it is ~ she needs a little care but very little. I just love her stylish legs and the price was right for our budget. Who could ask for more.

OH! She's beautiful!! We had a wood burning stove in our first house. It was made in France and an absolute beauty. I do miss her sometimes. Loved this! - Kathy
Love that stove! Many memories there, and when she is attached with flue pipe and damper is going to make manymore! (Is that gonna be a problem, hooking it up?) Hope not!
Love you guys, you are still way up North!!!!
I LOVE IT!! So where's it going to go? What... you've changed your mind already. Great! It'll fit on the north wall down in my basement's family room just right. Are you going to bring it over next time you visit or do I have to make a run in your direction. Your call.
I know... wishful thinking. I know what you mean though about having one 'just in case' of a power outage ~ tell your brother inlaw he needs one too for that purpose. Maybe if he hears it from you ~ I'll get one.
What a cute little stove and it will make your space nice and comfy too.
I love it. I've always wanted a wood burning stove like that. How fun when it'll be when it's all set up and you can make your first stew on it, maybe even if the power is on too.
She's lovely ... I'm sure she has a name and I'm sure you are going to post, right?? I'm intimately aquainted with someone (who happens to have six - yes, I said six - chain saws who would love an excuse to expand the wood making from two fireplaces to a beautiful wood stove.) I'm not going to share this ... but I'm so very glad you did. Love you! Cindy
Now THAT'S the retro stove I need just to get even with my kids!!! I don't need the heat though. You are so going to enjoy that this winter.

WHAT a beauty, Cher...so, when did you say you were delivering? hm? hm? You will love the warmth of a wood stove. Suggestion, when you put it in, put it up high enough to sit in front of it to warm your back., like the fireplace at the farm. DO ENJOY!
